Artisan Global designed and developed a series of web and mobile maps for the City of Lake Forest using HTML5 and the Esri Javascript API.

These maps provide citizens and City staff with easy access to information about Parks and Capital Improvement Projects (CIP). Users are automatically directed to either the full web site or the mobile version depending on how they access the site.

Lake Forest is home to many beautiful parks that provide wonderful opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, sports, and other community activities. The Parks map allows users to search for parks near an address or their current location (mobile version). Parks are displayed in both list and map views and users can drill down into detailed information. Parks can be filtered by amenities (picnic areas, baseball, basketball, etc.) and users can also locate parks that are hosting children’s activities.

The CIP map displays all capital improvement projects happening in the City, so that residents and businesses can visualize how the projects may be impacting them. Users are able to search for CIPs near an address or their current location (mobile version). Projects can be displayed in both list and map views and users can filter them by status or type.
